The work experience especially the solicitor’s client base is a very significant factor when it comes to determining the capacity of the solicitor.

Some solicitors may choose to work for city firms or high street firms where they can practice what they learn from business laws. The solicitors may operate as members of the personnel in a city department or be involved with a structured team whose members are also involved with individual practices.

In high street firms, solicitors will also be working with different city departments that are located on different cities but only two solicitors are accepted by the magistrate to represent their clients in court.
