This document contains easy instructions, which will allow you to start earning money from your writing.

To enable you to do this, you will need to set up two accounts - one WRITERSPODIUM account and one GOOGLE ADSENSE account.

Note: If you would just rather display your writing, you need only set up the WRITERSPODIUM account. You can set up an ADSENSE account any time after this.

Signing up for an adsense account. (Done! - Move on to the next stage...)

1. click here to sign up for a Google Adsense account (toggle back to this window for more instructions)
2. under the heading "Website Information", put in a website address. (You could use your own website address, or WRITERSPODIUM's - http://www.writerspodium.org )
3. "Website Language" is English (obviously)
4. the rest of the sign up form is self-explanitory. Pay attention to this agreement:
   • "I agree that I will not click on the Google ads I'm serving through AdSense." ( - should you click on your own ads, you'll very quickly find yourself without an adsense account. Don't do it!)

Details that you'll need to enable your WRITERSPODIUM adsense earnings:

1. sign up for an adsense account or...
2. go to your google adsense account and log in if you haven't already
   
3. click the "Adsense Setup" tab just under the Google logo
   
4. click "AdSense for Content"
   
5. don't worry about anything else on the next page - just click "Continue"
   
6. same with the next page - click "Continue"
   
7. here you can select your "Channel". (Channels allow you to figure out where your money is coming from!)
   
8. select a channel OR create one by clicking "Add new channel" (If adding channel - a new box appears: type the name of the channel eg: "WRITERSPODIUM" and then click okay)
   
9. your channel is now selected - you can deselect it if you want - but you don't want, right?
   
10. click "Continue"
    
11. next you are faced with "Your Adsense Code" - don't be scared, for this next bit is easy:
    
    you need just two variables - delete everything else
    
    google_ad_client = "pub-3442074945398820"; (Adsense Client ID)
    google_ad_channel = "8830797899"; (Channel ID)
    
    
12. you'll need just the information between the two quotes on each line
    
13. fill these variables into your account form on WRITERSPODIUM and hey presto, you are away!
