How it Works!

WRITERSPODIUM - A place for writers to showcase their work (and earn a little money.)

Writers' Podium is primarily a place where published and unpublished writers alike, can display their writing. In showcasing it here, there is also the potential to earn money from their work.

As a writer, you can earn money from your story or other content and retain full rights to your work.

How it works:
WRITERSPODIUM has adopted a revenue sharing approach.

On every page of this site, there are advertisements, which are served by Google. When a page is downloaded, relevant advertisements are fetched from Google's servers and displayed next to WRITERSPODIUM content. These adverts are "relevant", in that they reflect the page content. For example: if your writing contained information about "Spain", one of the advertisements might include "Holiday's in Spain".

These advertisements are part of the Google Adsense ProgramWhen you visit google and conduct a search, you'll notice "sponsored links" down the right hand side of the page. These links are part of the "Google Adsense Program". Advertiser's pay money every time one of these links are clicked. The more money that the advertiser has specified per click, the higher up the page that ad will appear. These same adverts will appear next to your story or other content here on WRITERSPODIUM!. -  anybody can create an adsense account. WRITERSPODIUM has an adsense account from which it earns revenue and so can you. So, create an adsense account and let's get started.

The delivery system:
The revenue sharing approach works on a 50-50 adsense account switching percentage system.

When your story, or other content is viewed by the internet user, it is possible that a google adsense advert on that page would be clicked. Fifty percent of the time, the present "click-through-rate" for that advertisementThe "click-through rate", is simply the amount of money that you'll receive, when somebody clicks an advertisement served by Google. The amount-per-click varies from one advert to another. Do not be tempted to keep clicking on Google ads yourself, or you'll very quickly find yourself with a suspended adsense account...., will be credited to your adsense user account. The other fifty percent of the time, the click through rate will come to the site.
